About Mesa Meadows

Our vision is to foster a vibrant, economically vital community in Downtown Golden by seeking tenants who give back to and help retain the small-town character of our area.

We are proud to be a part of the Golden community, with more than 40 years serving its commercial and residential real estate needs. From main street retail and restaurants, to unique office spaces, to downtown residence, we offer a range of rental opportunities. To support downtown commerce and activity, we also own and operate two parking lots. In addition to the high-quality properties, we strive to offer our tenants a dedicated personal management service.

We are a family-run business with deep roots in the community. Our family, the Foss’, arrived in Golden in the early 1900s and soon took over as the proprietors of the Golden drugstore. Over the years, F.A. Foss worked to expand the drug store, with it eventually becoming a center point of Golden’s Downtown.

Our family started Mesa Meadows to manage and develop properties in Downtown Golden.  When the drugstore closed in 2008, we took the opportunity to repurpose the building into multiple retail and hospitality businesses. This is just one of our many residential and retail property projects we have handled since founding the company.

We support our community through a variety of local initiatives. Strong believers in the potential of Golden, our family members Barbara and F.A. Foss established in collaboration with other community members the Golden Civic Foundation in 1970, an organization with which we remain deeply involved today.

We feel honored to be part of our community’s unique history and we look forward to our shared future.

    Renovating the Foss building

Following the closure of the drug store, the Foss building is renovated amidst the financial crisis. Mesa Meadow’s goal is to invest in the town and be able to select new tenants that would enhance the community. We are proud that the renovations renewed vitality and helped attract amazing local businesses to Downtown Golden.
